Childcare during Sunday Worship Services

Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided at all services.

Our primary concern is for the health and safety of your child, and that's why our nursery procedures are so
important.

Sign-In - You will be given two sets of name tags. One is for the child and one is for the diaper bag. You will
also receive a claim check card that you must turn in when you pick up your child. No unauthorized person
may remove a child from the nursery. If you should misplace your claim check card, you will be asked to
provide identification. We also request specific instructions at sign-in, such as sleeping positions, feeding
times, etc.  Should we need to reach you for any emergency, we will request where you will be sitting in the
sanctuary.

Well Children - Only well children are admitted to any nursery or classroom. When there are symptoms of
illness - cough, runny nose, or fever - please do not bring your child to the nursery.

Health & Safety Guidelines - We try to observe a "two-adult rule," which means that at least two adults
must be in a room with children at all times. Should you arrive early before our volunteers and are asked to
assist for a short time - please understand. Frequent hand washing is required for both volunteers and
children. Latex gloves are required when changing a diaper. Toys and equipment are disinfected each
morning and all crib linens are changed after each use.

Happier Experiences - To make the morning happier for your child, we recommend you bring: pacifier,
favorite toy, security blanket, etc., ample diapers (disposable preferred), bib and bottle of water, juice or
formula. Please label everything with your child's name.

Parental Role - We encourage parents to volunteer at least four to five times a year. No other time is more
needed than in the summer when we try to provide opportunities for our dedicated staff to vacation with
their families.
